Denise Beddows

(also writing as DJ Kelly) is an award-winning and bestselling author of crime, espionage, cosy crime and true crime. She also writes local history and biographical fiction under the name DJ Kelly. Founder of Chiltern Kills, the new crime writing festival in Gerrards Cross, and an active supporter of the Chalfont St Giles & Jordans Literary Festival, Denise draws on a long career in government service, research and intelligence. She regularly reviews books and films for publishers and journals, and is a member of both the Society of Authors and the Crime Writers’ Association.

She joins us at LitOct at Southlands Arts in Hillingdon to share insights from her writing journey and her passion for crime and history in fiction and non-fiction.
