Fundraising
Southlands Arts Centre is managed by the Yiewsley and West Drayton Arts Council. The council has been working with the local community since the 1960’s. Yiewsley and West Drayton Arts Council achieved charity status in 2017.
“We aim to develop a programme of high-quality community and amateur art and craft engagement and learning opportunities for a wide range of audiences. These opportunities will be available for all people from all sections of the local community to take part in inspirational and creative activities of their choice and, through this, improve the quality of life of people of all abilities. To attain this, we aim to advance the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts”.

Each month we run a Friends of Southlands committee meeting where the volunteers get together to discuss up-and-coming projects and what is required. For more information on these meetings, please check our events page/calendar, the notice board at the main gate of Southlands or email MT4ART@yahoo.com

Event fundraising

Other donations
Gardening club – our weekly gardening club meet on a Tuesday and a Thursday and is working on bringing the walled garden back to its former glory. If you have old but usable garden equipment or any plants or seeds that you think would be of use, please contact MT4ART@yahoo.com
Artwork – over the years, several local artists have donated artwork to the centre. If you want to donate a piece, please contact us.
Art supplies – we are always on the lookout for art supplies. Next time you have a clear out of your arts and crafts bits, think of us.
