Join us for a women‑only evening of reflection, connection, and conversation as part of Southlands Arts’ celebrations for International Women’s Day 2026.
In this special gathering, a selection of letters from our exhibition A Letter to My Younger Self: What I’d Tell Her Now will be read aloud — words written by women from across our community to the girls and young women they once were. These readings open a doorway into lived experience: moments of courage, tenderness, humour, regret, resilience, and the quiet wisdom that only time can shape.
Together, we’ll listen, pause, and talk. Not in a formal way, but in the gentle, generous spirit that these letters invite. You’re welcome to share your thoughts, or simply sit with the stories as they unfold around you.
Your ticket includes a glass of wine or soft drink to enjoy as we settle into the evening.
This is a space for women to gather, breathe, and recognise ourselves — and each other — in the words spoken aloud. Whether you contributed a letter, are curious to hear them, or simply want to be part of a thoughtful, uplifting night, you are warmly welcomed.
Come as you are. Leave a little more connected.
