Join us for Willow Weaving, a mindful activity suitable for all abilities; beginners are especially welcome.
Using willow, local artist Gina Martin will demonstrate the basic techniques needed to create your own personal sculpture. This is a hands-on course for beginners or those with more experience, who will go home with their own handmade willow dragonfly and obelisk.
Gina is highly experienced at running workshops and has been creating in willow for many years.
It is an outdoor event, and unless there is torrential rain, the sessions will go ahead. (It actually makes it easier to bend the willow if it rains!)
Working with Willow is best done with bare hands.
Coffee or Tea will be provided on arrival. You may wish to bring a packed lunch or use our cafรฉ for food and drinks during the day.
All tools and materials will be provided by Gina and included in the Ticket Price. You are guaranteed to take something you have made home.
