The Wandering Thimble
Group Details
Welcome to The Wandering Thimble — a little sewing circle with the heart of a hidden home and the warmth of a well-loved patchwork quilt. Tucked among thread, teacups, and candlelit creativity, our club is a space for barely beginners, quiet creators, wandering stitchers, and anyone looking for a place to belong.
Whether you arrive with years of sewing experience or have never threaded a needle before, you’ll be welcomed like an old friend. Bring your favourite fabrics, your curiosity, and your slightly tangled threads — we’ll figure them out together and learn something new.
The Wandering Thimble is less about perfection, and more about slowing down, creating by hand, and sharing peaceful evenings with kind-hearted people and getting some use out of that dusty sewing machine!
This group is led by Gabriela whose sewing machine hums every single day. Sewing isn’t just her skill, it’s her joy, her rhythm, her way of making sense of the world. She brings patience, warmth, and a love of teaching that makes even the most nervous beginner feel at ease.
All levels welcome. If you’re hoping to bring children, please contact Gabriela before attending. For everyone’s safety and comfort, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and we can only accept certain ages. We can’t make exceptions on the day, so please check with her in advance.
