Welcome to Southlands Arts Music

Southlands Arts has long been a cornerstone of creativity in our community, and it is best known for championing the visual arts. However, our musical arts program has flourished in recent years, offering a vibrant and growing space for musicians, performers, and music lovers alike.

Live Music & Events

Our annual Southlands Live festival has provided an incredible platform for emerging and established musicians to showcase their talents in a fun, community-driven setting. Each year, we celebrate live performances from diverse artists, fostering a unique festival atmosphere that brings people together through music.

In 2024, Southlands introduced a series of Revels Events—immersive gatherings filled with music, theatrical performances, and more. Our calendar featured spectacular occasions like the 12th Night Revels, a Christmas-themed celebration, as well as Spring Revels and Piano, Poetry, and Prose nights, where music intertwined beautifully with storytelling and spoken word.

Music Classes & Workshops

We believe in nurturing musical talent and ensuring that everyone has access to learning opportunities. Currently, we are fortunate to host a talented violinist who offers violin lessons at Southlands. In the past, we have also provided piano lessons and other music workshops, and we look forward to expanding these offerings in the future.
