Thank you for supporting Southlands Arts Centre with your purchase. As a small community charity, the sale of our items directly supports the arts in our local area.
Please choose carefully before purchasing. Many of our items are unique, handmade, or produced in very limited quantities and cannot be replaced once sold. For this reason, all sales are considered final unless the circumstances below apply.
When we will offer a refund or replacement:
We will always do the right thing. If any of the following apply, please get in touch with us and we will resolve the matter as quickly as we can.
- Item not received – If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe (normally 10 working days for UK delivery), we will investigate with the carrier and issue a full refund or replacement where the item is confirmed lost.
- Item arrived damaged – If your item arrives damaged or significantly not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it with a photograph of the damage. We will offer a full refund or, where possible, a replacement.
- Faulty items – Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy. If an item is faulty, you are entitled to a refund.
What we are unable to offer refunds for:
- Change of mind purchases
- Items that have been used, altered, or are no longer in their original condition
- Purchases made at in-person events, fairs, or workshops (these are final at the point of sale)
- Digital products or tickets to events
How to request a refund
Please contact us at [email protected] with your name, order details, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
A note from us
We are a volunteer-run charity, and every purchase makes a real difference. We appreciate your understanding that due to the unique and limited nature of many of our items, we are unable to offer a general returns service.
