With thanks to Hillingdon Council, Southlands Arts Centre has had a external make over during the last few months. Even though the centre is currently closed due to the Pandemic, we are looking very ship shape, and can’t wait to start welcoming back, some of our groups and classes.
Southlands Arts Centre is based at a wonderful Queen Anne Grade 2 listed building with extensive, beautiful grounds. Most of the grounds is left for wildlife to thrive, while the gardens are well tendered. All open to the public. It’s also the perfect backdrop for all arts and crafts, and has been the fuel behind many talented artists since the centre was first established in the 1960’s.
The centre is also used by dozens of cultural groups engage in cultural activities across the fine arts, film, drama, music, photography, literature, crafts and design.
We are well known for the high quality of our exhibitions we hold throughout the year. Southlands Arts attract some fantastic artists (Some local) who regularly exhibit their work at the centre. We are also the home for The West London Photo Exhibition and SouthlandsLIVE, and we hold seasonal Craft Markets.
