Join us for an exciting, beginner-friendly gel printing workshop.
Kiran will guide you through her beautiful layered technique, helping you create your own vibrant spring-themed print to take home.
All paints, papers and tools are provided – excluding the gel plate. (These can be purchased from Sostrene Grene, Amazon, Hobbycraft)
All skill levels welcome. Beginners to gel printing are welcome.
Kiran Patel enjoyed a career as a graphic designer and art has always been a rich seam of possibility within her. She took a beginners’ workshop in printing with a gel plate and fell in love with the art. She has been experimenting with the process and has created her own technique for creating beautiful layered prints.
All paints, papers and tools are included in the price except for the gel plate. Participants will need to bring their own gel plate. Participants will find it easiest if the plate is no bigger than 7 x 5 inches.
If you’re looking for inspiration for your entry to the Windows to Us exhibition – part of the celebration of International Women’s Day – this could be it. Either way, you’ll take home a beautiful print to hang on the wall at home.
