Kids Printmaking – Make a collagraph Plate

This workshop is a brief introduction to collagraph printmaking using a pasta-maker as a press. It will be presented by award-winning printmaker Basia Gorska.

Participants will use a range of materials such as nets, leaves and string to create texture on a printing plate and then choose which colours to use in the process of printing. At the close of this three-hour workshop participants will have developed an understanding of the tools, materials and process.

This workshop has been specifically designed for under 18s and all abilities are welcome.

Children aged 11 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and that parent or guardian must remain with the child throughout the session.

Children aged 12-18 years need not be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please note also: Parents themselves will not be permitted to print during the workshop.

This is to maintain good access to printing tools for the children.
