Imposter Syndrome: An Honest Talk

6 March @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Is imposter syndrome holding you back? Does it stop you from being the best you that you can be?

Women with imposter syndrome are often highly accomplished and impressive individuals. On the outside, there is no apparent reason for them to feel like an imposter, and yet they still do.

Although Southlands doesn’t profess to have the answer, we do think talking about it and learning about the experiences of others could be helpful. So, we’re creating a safe space for women to hold that discussion.

Six women from varying backgrounds are joining Jayne Towndrow for an honest talk about their experience of imposter syndrome. The women are: Paula O’Shea (Director at Southlands), Barbara Fisher (Journalist), Natalia Lorenc (Senior Leadership Management of Mental Health Services), Adrienne O’Brien (Massage Therapist and small business owner), Laura (small business owner and the face behind Opal Lily) and Jaki McGurk (retired flight crew and writer).

This event is part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, so you must be a woman to join us.

A glass of wine or soft drink is included in the ticket price.
