From Goddess to Icon: The changing faces of women in art Led by Lisa Tompkins

Join us for an insightful talk on the evolution of female portrayal in art, from ancient times to contemporary works. Explore key artworks and their significance, and participate in an open discussion about female representation.

After the talk, attendees are invited to create their interpretations of the female form, inspired by what they’ve learned. No artistic experience is needed. Please bring a sketchbook and any preferred art supplies if you have them.

This event is part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, so you must be a woman to join us.
