Apple Pie Supper

This is not just any event. This is Southlands’ event of the year.
Join us at 3:30 pm for the judging of our apple pie competition. Judging is by Paul McGarrity from Cranford Park. A prize will be awarded for the best pie.
After this, we’ll be selling pies and slices of pie. My mouth is watering just thinking of those deliciously baked treats.
Just before five o’clock, the winners and runners up the children’s categories of the creative writing competition will be announced, prizes will be awarded and then we’ll hear readings of those entries.
Lastly, at just after six o’clock the winners of the adult competition categories will be announced by award-winning author Denise Beddows, prizes will be awarded and then well hear readings of those entries.
I think you’ll agree – this is not just any event.
Timings:
15:30 – 16:30 Apple pie judging. Sales of pies and slices begins.
16:45 – 17:45 Children’s winners announced, prizes awarded and readings
18:00 – 20:00 Adult winners announced, prizes awarded and readings
