Discover a world of film together with family and friends in the beautiful Garden Room at the Southlands Centre, providing a lovely setting for a series of entertaining films for local movie fans. It is our aim to bring the community spirit back into the local area by showing the best of mainstream, independent and foreign films, old and new. With your support we can bring the cinema experience back to West Drayton.

Sunday 2nd December 2012: WHITE CHRISTMAS

Christmas is only a few weeks away and to mark the season we are screening Irving Berlin's festive classic starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. Feel free to bring your santa hats and singing voices for this musical spectacular!!!

As its a Christmas special a short picture round film quiz will take place to add some fun and test your film knowledge. There will also be some festive treats to make it a real party. With all this on board I'll be opening the doors at 5.30pm so do come and join us early for a glass of Christmas cheer and some mince pies.

HOW TO JOIN

The Southlands Film Club is open to ‘members only'. We host a wide range of movies of all genres (mainstream, British, art house, foreign, independent and some suggested by our members) the first Sunday of each month throughout the year. The evening starts at 6pm with drinks and nibbles. We then kick back and relax in the comfy chairs that Southlands offer at 6.30pm to enjoy the movie. In 2013 we would like to introduce an element of film discussion to the evening and also invite members to write reviews for publication on the SFC website.

Annual membership is £10 and for each event we will charge a £2 cover fee.
